DESCRIPTION:Employer Seminar #2 – Fostering Cultural Safety \nCultural safety is an ever-evolving process. \nAs an employer in the Ladysmith and Stz’uminus community\, you and members of your team are invited to join this free seminar led by Indigenous facilitators on Fostering Cultural Safety. \nThis session is scheduled from 9am to 1pm on Tuesday\, March 5\, 2024 in Stz’uminus Health Centre – Elders Room.  3945 Shell Beach Road\, Ladysmith.  View Map \n Through presentations\, sharing stories and group discussions\, this session will offer insights and tools to create and cultivate a culturally safe workplace that benefits Indigenous employees and customers alike. \nThere will be morning refreshments and a networking lunch following the seminar so please register to attend on Eventbrite here. \nThis event is co-hosted with the Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce as the second of four seminars on topics related to the Community Together to End Poverty Hw-nuts’-ulwum (as one) project through the Town of Ladysmith.
