DESCRIPTION:Learn the art Japanese art of Shibori tie dyeing;as well as binding and stitching. One day workshop.\nThis is a continuation of our previous workshop on the Japanese art of Shibori tie dyeing; however\, new participants are very welcome too! Participants will develop and combine basic binding and clamping techniques and explore sewing methods in Shibori using hand stitching\, machine work and application of small objects onto the surface fabric. The class will also include contact rust printing using found objects.
