The object of the Society is to operate as a strictly non-profit corporation for the purpose of providing homes for elderly citizens within Ladysmith and surrounding district generally, and to assist in the construction or reconstruction of low rental housing units for elderly citizens of low income who are unable to purchase adequate accommodation according to their needs and for such purposes only to construct, hold and manage low rental housing projects and to maintain the low rental character thereof.
